Summary

In this chapter, we have covered the process of installing Docker on various operating systems and in the Amazon cloud. By far, you should have your Docker installation verified, up, and running. We also know the tools that are available for us to use and what their purpose is. Let's leave it for now and learn some theory.

In the next chapter, we will dive deeper into Docker's images and containers architecture. It's mandatory to understand some concepts prior to running Docker containers or creating your own images.
