One of the major problems regarding the purchasing of goods and services on the Internet is ensuring a secure collection of payment. Unsecured card systems pose a great risk to the cardholder. Cybercash systems are not universally accepted and rely on a credit card to start the process. A number of companies and organizations believe that the answer to this problem lies in the Smart Card.
