The same flaw in the search of related establishments showed up with the Isle of Wight and the mainland. That journey requires a ferry trip and cannot be made other than at scheduled times.

We needed to solve this in a generalized way because the resources were not available to look at the connectedness of any point with respect to another. In fact this appears to be the same as the Minehead–Cardiff problem but isn’t. There is no land bridge between the two.
