image Removing Macros from Word Documents

Sometimes, older RTF formats will not support features of the word processor that you want to use. While saving into this format may lose some data, it can also be an advantage sometimes, such as when you have some style settings that are implemented in Word using macros. Opening the document will kick in the macro virus protection.

Saving the document as an RTF file and then re-importing it back into Word and saving the file again as a DOC file again seems to cure this, but at the expense of losing all the macros in the document. This is a desirable outcome if you wanted to clean the document of any macros, ...
