Calling Visual Basic from AppleScript
When calling Visual Basic from AppleScript there are some minor things to be aware of.
You can often record the script in the script editor, but sometimes you’ll find that the recorded script does not run and throws a compile error in the Office application. This is usually because the line breaks in the Visual Basic script cause completion errors in the VBA compiler.
