Roll Tape!

Video and Audio

We often need to create metadata that describes video sequences. In fact, this is probably the area where our metadata can add the greatest value.

Content and asset management systems are available for storing video economically, typically costing between fifty and seventy thousand dollars and these numbers are decreasing as the systems manufacturers become more competitive. It is highly likely that you will have to modify or configure any system to work most effectively within your particular environment. Buying a solution is easier than building it but integrating it into your larger workflow context is going to take a little bit of work.
