About this Book

This book is about designing better workflows that will lead to creating good quality metadata (and essence data). You still might not create perfect metadata but it should be significantly less flawed than it could be without a well-designed workflow in place. The quality of input to systems that are designed to be inherently stable and reliable requires a singleness of purpose from the outset.

This applies equally to large-scale enterprises or small one-man outfits trying to leverage systems as labor saving devices.
