2.3. WHERE TO LOOK

There are many ways to assess your company's business and organizational needs. These can include interviews with key executives, focus-group sessions, or organizational surveys. Exhibit 2.1 contains a series of questions that you could adapt for your own survey instrument or interview guide; questions 6 and 7 specifically address organizational challenges, but all are prompts for information useful throughout the DLT process.

We recommend that you interview a minimum of five senior-level leaders in your organization, ideally from different functions.
