8.4. USING EVALUATION FINDINGS

To ensure that your evaluation findings will be used to support individual, team, and organizational learning, be sure to complete four critical activities: effectively communicate the results, identify specific courses of action, develop a detailed action plan, and monitor the action plan's implementation (see Exhibit 8.6).

These activities create a greater likelihood that your recommendations will be carefully considered and translated into realistic actions for the individuals and the organization.

A note about producing the final evaluation report: It should be clearly written, to the point, and understandable to a layperson. Headings you can use to organize this report are
