Anecdotal information about your leadership development program, even when it comes as sincere and insightful feedback, cannot replace the need for a high-quality evaluation. Given the approach you have taken to identify organizational needs and leadership capacity, you will want to know (and senior leadership in your organizations will want to know) whether or not the program you are running is closing the gaps. Your organization will be specifically interested to see if its investment is paying off.
