Making Leadership Sense Out of Personality Differences

What lessons can be learned from personality differences for the purpose of working well with a difficult team member? First, recognize that your personality is part of the equation causing the difficulty. Don’t put all the blame on the team member. Second, approach any meeting with the team member with the expectation that your personality may grind a bit against that of the other person. Listen for these points of conflict, and make adjustments to relieve them.
