The steps of the Exemplary Performance Model are simple and straightforward:
1. Assess current performance and target one exemplary strength and one expandable strength.
2. Determine the key factors.
3. Create an action plan to leverage and develop the exemplary and expandable strengths.
4. Follow up.
My aim has always been to provide a clear, straightforward means for leaders to help employees develop to the exemplary level.
