Chapter 10. Team Emotional Awareness

The exercise of team emotional awareness requires members of the team to notice one another's emotions, to seek to understand why the emotions exist when it is relevant to the team engagement, and to respond appropriately. Emotional Awareness is a critical factor in motivation, productivity, and a team's ability to collaborate. It is therefore central to the success of every team; without this vital information, much valuable data is overlooked.
