IN THIS CHAPTER

At this point in the project we need to create a concrete visualization, called a user interface prototype, of some of what we have learned so far. This visualization should focus on areas of the project that need further validation. It can also be an excellent way to discover more about the application requirements, which might involve not only new functionality but also usability needs.

A prototype's goal is not only to mock up the visual interface but also to visually exercise many of the pathways through the use-cases.
