Next Steps

In this chapter, we learned about wearable computing and how it relates to today’s Android devices. To that effect, we learned how to give Android smartphones and tablets a voice by enabling Android’s text-to-speech capability. We also discovered how several commercially available Android programs take advantage of this built-in feature. And we configured a useful utility that gives us the ability to initiate actions on an Android smartphone with the click of a headset button.
