Test and Integration

Kim R. Fowler,    IEEE Fellow, Consultant

Test and integration, in this chapter, refer to verifying and validating the design and the development effort. Test and integration, coupled with design review, are the primary feedback activities to assure the project goals. The goals for test and integration are to analyze for design readiness, discover and characterize system behaviors, discover the product’s limits, and prevent and constraint defects.
