Remember the ransom-note typography when writers first got Macintosh systems? Writers used 27 fonts on every page. Or how about the refrigerator art that infested corporate memos when color printers became common? These outbreaks of gizmania were temporary problems. People soon tired of gewgaws and began to notice the powerful effects of good, restrained design. The same will happen with WBT. Soon, we hope.
