Chapter 29. Signing Off

Signing out of a Web application is rarely a complicated task, but some sites make this far more complicated than it needs to be, and not enough sites take advantage of the opportunity that signing out presents to compel users to return.

More often than not, signing out entails simply clicking a command link in the upper corner of a Web page.

Such is the case with Blinksale, where you’re simply returned to the Sign In page. This method is great for closed systems, when you are unable to see any part of an application without signing in.
