Creating Web Pages with a “Graphics” Language

I have tried hard in the preceding 11 chapters not to let too much of my excite-ment about SVG show through—but in a way, I hope that I have failed. In this chapter, I feel I should tell you more up front how excited I am about SVG as a possible one-stop, XML-based Web authoring solution.

You might be asking yourself whether I am crazy. Are you wondering whether I have forgotten that SVG is a graphics format?
