Designing Instruction: Foundations
We turn now to functions more traditionally performed by instructional designers, but we do so with no less of an interest in breaking down barriers that have prevented learning experiences from producing needed behavioral improvements and having measurable impact. Determined as we are to set aside those things that have had an unsuccessful track record, we must replace them with effective approaches. Thankfully, by borrowing from the wisdom upon which alternative theories are based and upon the experience of successful designers, we have much to guide us.
