Chapter 4. Creating a Logical Design

After evaluating an ISP’s requirements and applying an architectural model, begin designing the architecture. To achieve all the architectural principles and arrive at an optimal architecture, start with a logical design, then move into the physical design (covered in the next chapter).

This chapter describes elements necessary for creating a logical design. It presents these elements in a high-level structure, showing how to design an architecture from the top-level down.
