Systems Management
The management server provides some beneficial capabilities to a Sun Cluster 3.0 system. Installation and recovery are particularly beneficial. Other system management capabilities can be equally important but may not require special considerations for clusters.
All JumpStart software components on the management server must include the latest patches and the latest versions supported by the Sun Cluster 3.0 software. The primary software components are:
Solaris operating environment software
Solstice DiskSuite software
Sun Cluster 3.0 software and data services
