Appendix B. Sun Cluster Technology History And Perspective
The first half of this appendix describes the evolution of the new Sun Cluster 3.0 product. It briefly describes the features and main release dates of the Sun clustering software that preceded the Sun Cluster 3.0 release—SPARCcluster™ PDB™ 1.x, Solstice HA 1.x, and Sun Cluster 2.x. The second half of this appendix contains brief descriptions of the features and capabilities of Sun Cluster 2.2 and contrasts them with the features and capabilities of Sun Cluster 3.0.
