The final report is the vehicle for communicating to the audience the conclusions and recommendations derived from the study. It is integral to the survey research process as a whole; therefore, the research process should not be considered complete until the final report has been prepared and disseminated. Within the report, the analysis of the data, including tables, graphs, and other statistical presentations, should be well organized and clearly explained so that the intended audience can comprehend the essential findings of the study. This chapter suggests an appropriate format and useful guidelines for preparing a formal report of survey research findings.
