Working with Color

Color is an element of marketing design that either immediately works for you or against you. Correctly used, color invites readership by appealing to your reader’s emotions. Incorrectly used, however, color can immediately undermine your message.

The color schemes in Publisher take the worry out of color. They encourage you to use a few, carefully chosen colors for your publication. To view the available color schemes, click Format, Color Schemes. In the Color Schemes task pane, shown in Figure 6-15, you can select from among dozens of prechosen color palettes.
