Obtaining Agreement on Project Goals

One of the best ways to garner support for your design decisions is to involve coworkers, bosses, and clients in the planning process. The easiest way to do this is to fill out a Project Planning Worksheet in their presence. By including clients and coworkers in the planning process, you’re ensuring their “buy-in,” which will eliminate potential problems later.

Distribute copies of the Project Planning Worksheet shown in Figure 2-1. (You can download copies for distribution from the Design to Sell Web site, at www.designtosellonline.com/02chap.html.)
