Exploring the Advantages of 2-Color Commercial Printing

To choose two-color printing for your publication, click Tools, Commercial Printing Tools, Color Printing.

When the Color Printing dialog box appears, click Spot Colors. Click the New Colors button, and choose the two colors that you want to include in your publication.

Why 2-color printing?

When taking your designs to a commercial printer, each additional color increases your printing costs.

Two-color printing, however, adds impact to your publication for much less than four-color printing.

In most cases, your colors will be black plus a second, accent, color chosen because its color is associated with your logo. Or, instead of black, you might choose a dark gray.
