About the Author
Dr K. S. Sai Ram graduated in Civil Engineering from the College of Engineering, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, in the year 1983. After working for a few months with Unitech Consultants Pvt. Ltd, he joined IIT Bombay and obtained his M.Tech. degree in Aerospace Structures. In 1986, he joined as a lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, RVR & JC College of Engineering, Guntur, where he is currently Professor and Head. He obtained his Ph.D. in the year 1992 from IIT Kharagpur in the field of Fibre Reinforced Plastic Composite Materials.
