(In which we learn to not hand out mittens in summertime, and to let learners hold the map)
I’ve struggled a bit with what to include in this chapter. On one hand, designing for knowledge is probably a whole book unto itself; on the other hand, pretty much everything we’ve already talked about is part of designing for knowledge.
So in this chapter, we’re going to focus on a few basic questions:
• Will your learners remember?
• Does the learner understand?
• How much guidance do you give learners?
We’ll also take a look at a process for designing learning solutions.
Let’s look at a few of the many ways to make content more memorable.
