In this chapter we take a look at the possible options available for offering Multicast in a carrier Ethernet environment, with VPLS as the carrier infrastructure for offering various services to end customers. We also detail on the building blocks of a Broadband wholesale network and some widely deployed architectures for delivering multi-play services.
