Mono’s Roadmap

At the time of this writing, Mono’s publicized roadmap covers releases through 2005. Generally, Mono releases are planned to track evolving functionality in .NET. Mono release packages will include a stable build that has features suitable for production and an unstable build, including a snapshot of features still under development.

While these plans are forward looking and subject to revision as progress is made, Mono offers real capabilities today (several months before the planned delivery of Mono 1.0). The Mono C# compiler is very complete and is currently used to build Mono. The Mono ASP.Net implementation is already functional enough to run the IBuySpy .NET demo without modification.
