Make Sure Safeguards Are in Place

This entire chapter is dedicated to backing up your data. However, the best backup is one you never have to use. Before you start backing up anything, then, read and put in place the safeguards listed next. You can help prevent ever having to use your backups by keeping the following in mind and in place.
