The people from McGraw-Hill and I go way back. I believe our first book together was Hardcore Windows XP, published in 2005. That was a long time ago, but the same people are still there to thank. Roger Stewart is one of them. He’s very particular about what makes the cut and what doesn’t with regard to what books get the go-ahead nod, so I’m always thankful when they pick up a book I’ve proposed or choose me to write one they have designed.
