Confronting the Deep Change or Slow Death Dilemma

Maintaining faith, courage, and energy in today's fiercely competitive world is not easy. Having to face the many challenges that occur in our lives and in our organizations and continually to resolve issues often corrodes our initiative and curtails our internal drive. I've been in this position for four years, and every year the work pressure has increased. My people are doing all they can just to hold on. I'm fifty-seven, and I'm doing all I can to hold on. I know we need to implement this thing. I just don't think we can do one more major change.
