Like the critical perspective within organization theory, feminist theory views the development of hierarchy in a historical/cultural perspective that allows for consideration of new structural possibilities. In its assumption of the possibility for fundamental social change, feminist theory is supported by feminist practice: the experiences and work of women within the feminist movement.
