About the Author

Steve McClatchy grew up in the greater Philadelphia area as the eleventh of 12 children in his family. He credits his fascination with time management to his big family and lively, yet sometimes chaotic, childhood home. He attended college in Washington, DC, and holds a BA in economics and a BA in finance.

Steve comes from a sales background and has been in the talent development industry since 1996. In 2001 he started his own speaking and training company, Alleer Training and Consulting. Alleer comes from the Latin word alere, which means “to develop a person.” He speaks, trains, and consults to many Fortune 1000 companies internationally on the topics of time management, leadership, and sales. He is a member of the National Speakers Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the American Society for Training and Development.

Steve serves as a guest lecturer at many of America's top business schools, including the Harvard Business School, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, Temple University, Saint Joseph's University, Villanova University, the University of Chicago, and Western University in Canada.

Steve has been quoted in such distinguished business publications as the Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur magazine, Investor's Business Daily, WebMD magazine, Selling Power magazine, and Fast Company magazine.
