Personality issues

Problems between staff often start with small snags; if these are allowed to grow, they can cause headaches for everyone concerned. Small differences of opinion may start the process, but the conflict then escalates as people become defensive, aggressive and sometimes malicious. By the time it is obvious that something must be sorted out, positions have become entrenched. It has become as much a battle of wills as a tangible problem.
