DB2 Database Project for Visual Studio .NET

The DB2 Database Project template for Visual Studio.NET lets you use scripts for developing server-side objects, including stored procedures, UDFs, tables, views, indexes, and additional objects. These DB2 scripts can contain DB2 DDL and DML SQL statements.

With a DB2 database project, you can do the following:

  • Add new or existing SQL stored procedure scripts

  • Add new or existing SQL UDF scripts

  • Add new or existing scripts based on generic templates that contain supported DB2 DDL and DML

  • Specify project dependencies and project build order in the solution

  • Specify build configuration options including script files build order
