Diagnostic Logging Improvements

With the introduction of the administration notification log, the usability of DB2's diagnostic logs has been greatly improved. DB2 writes information to the administration notification log when database errors and other significant database events occur. This information is in the form of meaningful messages useful to database and system administrators.

The db2diag.log text log file records memory dumps and internal messages when database errors occur. This information is intended for DB2 customer support.
