Activating the Connection Concentrator
To activate the connection concentrator, set max_connections to be greater than max_coordagents. For example, if max_coordagents has a value of 200, the following commands activate the connection concentrator:
db2 update dbm cfg using max_connections 400 db2stop db2start
In this example, the connection concentrator became active once the database manager was reset and the max_connections value of 400 was adopted.
