Appendix A. CD-ROM Installation

The accompanying CD-ROM contains a copy of DB2 UDB Personal Edition v8.1.2 for Windows. This product is provided in “Try and Buy” mode. Once the product has been installed, it will continue to operate for 180 days. To use this software past the 180-day period requires a DB2 license, which is not provided.
