Configuration
The database must be enabled to use XML Extender. Enabling a database creates the needed UDTs, UDFs, and administration tables. The database can be enabled using two different methods: using the dxxadm CLP or the dxxadmin Java administration tool. Here is the syntax for enabling an XML Extender database from the dxxadm CLP:
dxxadm ENABLE_DB database-name [-l userid -p password]
NOTE
The dxxadmin Java administration tool requires JDK 1.1.x and Swing 1.1.
