Net Search Extender
Net Search Extender is a fast and versatile method of searching full text documents in DB2, other databases, or file systems using SQL queries. It is scalable and highly optimized for use over the Internet. Net Search Extender v8 combines the functionality of both DB2 Text Information Extender v7.2 and Net Search Extender v7.2. It takes advantage of new multiple primary key support in DB2. This extender can be administrated using either the CLP or the DB2 Control Center. Net Search Extender is also able to search non-DB2 databases using DB2 Federated technology.
