Tracing Problems in DB2

These traces can be used for problem determination:

  • DB2 trace

  • IMS attachment facility trace

  • CICS trace

  • Three TSO attachment facility traces

  • CAF trace stream

  • OS/390 RRS trace stream

  • MVS component trace used for IRLM

DB2 Traces

DB2 trace allows you to trace and record subsystem data and events. There are five different types of trace.
