DSNZPARMS

The DB2 DSNZPARMS are the parameters that you supply values for at installation time, either via the install panels or DB2 Installer. After installation, these DSNZPARMS can be changed without having to go back through the installation process. You can do this by changing the member containing the DSMZPARMS, reassembling it and bouncing the DB2 subsystem for them to take effect.

DB2 also allows for about 60 of the most popular DSNZPARMS to be dynamically changed without having to stop and restart the DB2 subsystem, thus avoiding an unwanted outage.
