Advanced Video Features
As I’ve noted several times in this book, the a7 III boasts professional-level video features not found in most consumer- or even some pro-oriented digital still cameras. Many of those looking for the best Sony camera for video may prefer a dedicated camcorder, like the Sony VG30 Handycam (about $2,700), which uses E-mount lenses, or the 4K-capable Sony AX1 Professional Handycam ($4,500), which has a fixed 20X zoom lens. Even so, the a7 III is no slacker when it comes to capturing clips that can be assembled into polished video productions.
