This chapter shows you how and why to use each of the options in the Custom, Setup, Retouch, and My Menu sections of your D90’s menu system.
The Custom Setting menus consist of a series of six color-coded menu categories. The Custom Setting menus (see Figure 4.1) provide a roster of relatively stable groups of preferences that let you tailor the behavior of your camera in a variety of different ways for longer-term use. Some options are minor tweaks useful for specific shooting situations. Others, such as the ability to assign a feature to the Fn button, make the camera more convenient to use.
