Once you’ve purchased your new lens, you’ll want to think about some appropriate accessories for it. There are some handy add-ons available that can be valuable. Here are a couple of them to think about.

EF-EOS M Adapter

If you want the most flexibility in your choice of lenses, you’ll want this adapter, shown in Figure 10.18. It mounts on the EOS M, and conveys electrical signals between the camera and lens, allowing full functionality. You’ll note in the figure that the adapter has mounting indexes for both EF (red dot) and EF-S (white square).
