Movie Settings

The Movie Settings menu can be summoned by the MENU button only when the EOS M has been set to Movie mode (rotate the On/Off/Movie switch to the Movie position). The five settings on the Movie menu (see Figure 6.2) include:

Image Movie rec. size. Choose 1920 × 1080 (Full HD) at 30 or 24 fps; 1280 × 720 (HD) at 60 fps; or 640 × 480 pixel (Standard resolution) at 60 fps. The frame rates are for NTSC television mode; for the PAL system, the camera will substitute 50 fps for 60 fps, and 25 fps for 30 fps. (The motion picture standard, 24 fps, remains constant.)
