Chapter 6. Resources Needed

After a careful study is completed and the decision is made to create a database archiving application, a team must be assembled and resources gathered to create the design and initiate implementation.

Not all the resources will be needed; in fact, some of them will be determined only as the project moves along. The resources typically required are:

  • People
  • Authority
  • Education
  • Archive server
  • Software tools
  • Disk storage
